AGC of DC: A rich history of serving DC/VA/MD
The Associated General Contractors of Metropolitan Washington D.C. (AGC of DC) started back in 1929 as the Master Builders Association with 18 members. Ninety years later, three of those companies - George Hyman, now Clark Construction Group; Davis, Wick, Rosengarten Company, the predecessor of DAVIS Construction; and Tompkins Builders, now a part of Turner Construction, are still in existence and have grown to be three of the largest and most prestigious companies in the DC market.
